About Us
M.E.N.D exists in order to advocate for medical cannabis patients, to promote dignified medicines, and to educate patients about the ways medical cannabis can be used to address a range of medical concerns and conditions. We've done this by helping to remove the misconceptions surrounding this medical plant, and by giving patients the tools they need to begin healing.
M.E.N.D has been years in the making. Officially launched in Meaford, Ontario in 2013, we had been forming for several years prior as "the system" continued to let medical cannabis patients down. We advocate for medical cannabis patients, promote dignified access to cannabis medicines, and educate Clients/Patients about the ways medical cannabis can be used to address a range of medical concerns and conditions. We've done this by helping to remove the fear and misconceptions surrounding this medicinal plant, and by giving patients the tools they need to begin healing
We've been spreading knowledge and helping our community as well as many other communities in Southern Ontario and as we've grown, so too have the requests for us to visit communities further away to educate, hold cannabis cooking classes, and to help others pass along the knowledge. MEND's goal is to enlighten and empower all willing students to take charge of their own healing path in a way that an relieve stress to an already distressed system.
